The foremost event of the new tenure, the Installation and Felicitation ceremony, marks the momentous beginnings by officially installing the new board, coupled with well deserved appreciation and admiration of the leaders and members of the foundation, for their commendable work in the previous tenure.

KidO - Kids Olympics
Kids Olympics, lovingly known as KidO, is an opportune event for skilled and capable children to showcase their talents. Our event strives to discover brilliant young minds residing in orphanages and NGOs by organising various events to develop, enhance as well as exhibit their expertise in sports and vocational activities.

Lohri Celebration
We celebrate this occasion in Himalayan style, by spreading love and happiness amongst the underprivileged children, who rarely get to celebrate such occasions with all the resources and blissfulness. We make the day uber-special for them by showing them amusing dance and music performances, distributing scrumptious sweets, singing and grooving around the bonfire on the beats of dhol; filling their hearts with joy. They indulge in fun and frolic time whilst playing various games with our volunteers and a hearty meal marks the perfect end to the celebration.

Orientation Ceremony
The Himalayan Foundation Chandigarh gives its new members a Himalayan style welcome by means of “Orientation Ceremony”. The orientation ceremony marks the beginning of an exciting journey of social services, personal grooming, new friends and bonds, and a lot of fun. It is a day which officially makes the new recruits a part of the Himalayan family.

Pirates of the City (POTC) is one of the fundraiser events of The Himalayan Foundation Chandigarh . Pirates Of The City is a treasure hunt organized in the Tricity where there are various clues provided throughout the city. You have to solve these clues to reach the next destination until you discover the treasure. Each year, this event attracts many players and is one of the most anticipated events.

Salsa Slam
"Salsa Slam" is another beautiful event of The Himalayan Foundation Chandigarh, which is a three day Salsa dance workshop for all the enthusiastic people, whose feet can't help but sway to the sound of music. This workshop is suitable for dancers and non-dancers alike, where this beautiful form of dance is taught by an esteemed choreographer. The event is held every year, and manages to attract a huge audience every time.
